@barlew I called PCS. For start the solve the issue of the Realtek looping, it was something to do with LAN drivers. Secondly, they aren't sure why the driver itself won't install, but they did manage to reinstall the software. At first they thought it was my Windows being corrupted but they...
Hmmm. I will ask them when they email me tomorrow. They seem to be slow with this type of stuff for me. I would probably be easier if I call them but I don't fancy waiting on the phone for awhile.
I don't have anything inside "included with device".
All I know the app was called Sound Blaster Atlas. I even have a sticker on the laptop saying "Powered by Sound Blaster Atlas".
And the logo is something like this -
I sent you two different emails sent by PCS - It was for the exact same email. I don't know where else I would get software other than in the files in my download?
No, that isn't the software I was using. It was all white and had presets for movies (I think movies), music, games etc.
And the files in that folder installed it before as that is what PCS sent me in an email.
It is the same software as this guy -...
Well, I clicked on the setup.bat as that does both exe. I believe it did them normally though. It did show command prompt lines too. I have clicked on that before when I tried reinstalling it ages ago when PCS forgot to install the software when it arrived to me first time.
That didn't work either. I think my laptop has just had enough lol. Not sure what else to do. I am also waiting to hear back from PCS support email too, so hopefully they will get back to me tomorrow.
I did say I managed to stop the looping. I uninstalled the realtek driver and then reinstalled it before rebooting. That fixed it. I then tried to reinstall the Sound Blaster Atlas App via the downloads, and now that is not appearing when I search for on my computer.
Then I don't think the audio driver for the software is installed. So I wouldn't know where to find that, as the only thing in the audio file was for the Realtek audio.
The looping was when the installer kept uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek over and over.
Also, I just noticed I am...
I had to try a different way for the Realtek driver/ audio folder because it kept looping, but I will show what is in the SBX, and they don't look like drivers, only the application for Atlas.
By audio driver adapter do you mean Realtek(R) audio in Sound, Video and Controllers?
Oh, SBX zip file is where I got my Sound Blaster Atlas from, and it should have the driver in there, but I don't think the driver installed with it. I keep being sent that, but whenever I do it's just the same...
@barlew I tried that now, but the installation just kept looping and the application still says the same thing. Because it kept looping I did cancel it, so I still have Realtek installed, but the driver for the app didn't work.
Should I uninstall the realtek driver myself through device manager...
My Microsoft Store was gltiching so I tried to reinstall it as resetting didn't working, and it deleted some software off the laptop somehow, such as geforce experience, control center and Sound Blaster Atlas. So I managed to get everything else apart from Sound Blaster Atlas. I managed to get...
The number I was referring to was under the laptop where it says P/N and S/N. I took a photo of the stickers that show it suppose to have 'Powered by Sound Blaster Atlas", but that file appears to be too large to send.
My Laptop is supposed to have Sound Blaster Atlas + SXFI Audio. That sound...
