Sure, one below. Comes in RGB variant too. From the bit of research seems to be one of the best for AM5 you can get and designed specifically for EXPO. Motherboard QVL dependant of course but seems to be vetted for quite a few of them...
So hopefully have this all resolved now. PCS were not able to provide 6000mhz for AM5 platform so going through an RMA now for a refund. Bought some RAM from the QVL list and installed it yesterday, EXPO went fine with no issues. Hopefully the end of the problem! Actually may work out better...
Yeah not blaming them at all but if they have pulled the RAM they sold me because it won't work I'd hope they would offer a solution i.e. they eventually get in 6000 RAM that does work and swap for me or say give a refund and allow me to buy non OEM RAM that is on the QVL list etc. I'll wait and...
Did try with EXPO II and it never worked, only EXPO I. Had a check there and can see that they have indeed removed them.
I have already mailed them so if they say they don't work and have already gave me a system with the them as a 6000 option I wonder what their solution is. Guess I'll wait...
And after days of it working the EXPO issues are back. Bit head scratching really since it was flowing along just fine with EXPO I. Not really sure if it's BIOS related (from what I see online there are people having issues with BIOS 1616 and EXPO) or if it's faulty RAM.
Machine is working...
So after setting everything up and making sure all drivers, updates etc. was done I went back to BIOS, applied EXPO I and now it's working. Very odd chain of things to have to go through but it seems okay now.
Yeah it was EXPO I and speed was 6000. Before BIOS updates only showed 5800 on my initial boot and then yellow DRAM light on MB before turning EXPO off.
Hey, the PC is working now so after almost 7 weeks since order so I'll just enjoy it a bit and figure out EXPO at some stage, thanks for the...
I did, updated to version 1616 for my board. Enabled EXPO and it worked just fine (this is without a GPU installed).
Will give it another go once I've the PC setup properly. Maybe it was just not having the GPU fully set up was causing the issue.
Unbelievable, Disabled EXPO and it's loading up. Go figure!
I'll try get it all setup with a clean install, run some tests and try EXPO again later on.
Original GPU was the same. Was faulty and got massive graphic artifacts and crashes. Machine (with no GPU) works fine through the motherboard DP with no issues.
One thing I did while I was waiting on a replacement GPU was update the BIOS. Worked fine but was no GPU in at the time. Could this...
Hi all, know this is a bit off topic but I got my new GPU (initial one in system was faulty) and installed it. When I load up the PC I get a white VGA light and nothing after. If I do a restart it gets me to the screen where I can press F1 to go to BIOS. I restart again and back to the white...
Yeah I've watched all the GN videos!
Hopefully this latest BIOS has sorted it out in that regard. Considering I couldn't even turn on EXPO before without a yellow DRAM light it seems to have done something right.
So got approval for BIOS 1616 from PCS. Installed smoothly and put EXPO back on and it's showing as 6000mhz.
On the BIOS that came installed on my PC it only showed 5800 mhz before I got the yellow DRAM light so seems to be fine now.
QQ for those more in the know. What's the difference...
Pretty sure it's a latch going by pics of the board online with nothing installed.
I'll be home shortly and will have a look. They offered to do this or take the whole system back so if I can't get into it easily may just take that route. And could ask them to update the BIOS at the same time.
Haven't attempted yet, still in the office so going to have a look when I get home. Unscrewing it and removing power cables should the easy part. Per a pic of the case I have, it's the size of the card and accessing the latch I'm concerned with since I can't even see the latch.
So I'm going to be sending back my GPU for a replacement. Being overly cautious here in taking it out but the latch at the end of the PCIe slot you just push down on the release the GPU and then gently pull it out? I assume this is very straightforward but pulling something this big out of the...
I can't even find my RAM online (going by the sticker on the back): CMK5X16G1B60Z40A2
Very weird, although maybe not the exact part number you would think a web search would bring up something.
I'm hoping the fact that it's almost 2 weeks since the last BIOS listed and that this one went straight to a fully tested non-BETA version means they have put the work in on it but yeah, always nervous considering the issues right now!
