I was not sure how, but what happened was, I have originally setup 30% of the block as overprovision.
When I did the reinstalling, I am unsure what happened, but the recover drive jammed into the other end and caused an increase in unallocated space that after another reinstall
I can't even...
The only reason I have asked them to do it is because it was messing up the overprovision as well.
I had lost complete control of the overprovision as windows jammed a recovery driver in the middle of them and I will have to spend a long time to correct that, as I am not that good with windows...
I did ask them to wipe both of my hard drives and get rid of the partitions (as there were a lot of partitions due to how windows now setup their recover drive these days)
I was planning to do a clean install any case.
PCS had checked out the computer and decide that the issue was with the GPU as SpyderTracks predicted, they have to replace the motherboard in the end.
I am so glad it is still within warranty for parts!
Now I am just waiting for them to deliver the laptop back.
Well, I have reset windows already...so, may be next time.
The latest is PCS suggest to send the machine back for inspection.
So working to arrange for that at a moment.
Noted, but I can't even get to that stage to work that part out at this current moment, if I start the laptop in the GPU only config with power connected, the whole thing just won't start.
Plus a streak of bad luck just keep hitting as I go, since I am following instructions from PCS to trouble...
Just found an interesting thing, turns out the laptop can use GPU when not plugged in to power supply and run on on battery, but as soon as I plugged in the power supply the screen blacks out.
So yea, definitely the GPU and is not overheating issue, as the it happened before the temps can even...
Last I check with 3D mark about 2 months ago, the result were somewhat within range, albeit on the middle to lower end, so even if it is overheating, it really shouldn't be this bad.
Currently I can't even check if the temps are ok on the GPU side it if I want to, the moment the laptop even try...
rolling back to the the factory driver on the graphics card did not work.
I have reinstall windows in the end, thinkingnit might have been corrupted system files.
Things seems to have taken a weirder turn though, now the laptop has became very slugish.
Worked fine again after a restart, but...
I am not entirely sure what happened, but after I have reinstalled the Graphics driver (Nvida Experience keeps on insisting that the driver cannot be detected), the lap top will not boot, I cannot even enter into BIOS when this happens.
When I power on the laptop, the indication light for...
I have recently reinstalled windows (due to corrupted system files and drivers etc) and had created a new recovery drive on my hard drive.
I have deleted and remove the old partition and is wondering if there is any good Disk Partition Management software to move it to the left of the C drive...
I got that problem too, but then I noticed after Ctrl + tab that the pin set up is somehow running behind that screen, so I entered the pin blind and got pass it....lol
I have a similar problem to this trend below, the Sound Blaster Atlas is installed but the software is unable to detect.
