Hey guys,
just as a follow up and a thank you really, my new rig is ace, I´m super happy with it.
It cold boots in under 30seconds, (my old laptop, HP pavilion 15-ac151sa took over 4mins), and after a little faffing I managed to install ubuntu on the second drive. I had planned on win10 and...
Thanks all, for assistance: I ordered Sunday night, it's coming tomorrow, super fast turn around, I'm dead excited.
However.... I have a small problem. In preparation, I'm downloading all drivers and Win10.iso from the tech support page, but all the large downloads keep failing. I've tried...
Hi Codie, I have the same issue here - large downloads keep failing: Win10.iso, Nvidea drivers etc..
Did you find a fix for the non-resumable download fails?
Cheers

Damn it, I tried to add a 2.5" 1Tb SSD but..
So what would be my best option for having access to "My Documents" from both Win10 & Ubuntu on the 2 M.2 drives?
Thank you for your input

I'm also getting...
thanks - no special need for dedicated GPU. I want 17" screen, 16gb ram (so i can multitask with lag) and back-lit keyboard are must haves.. anything else is gravy. What do you suggest?
@Cypher - thanks, I got that but on the configuration screen it wont let me have 2 OS drives with a data drive.
"You have chosen 2 x M.2 SSD drives, however the configuration you have selected can only support 1 x M.2 SSD drive(s). Please reduce the selection to 1 x M.2 SSD drive(s), or...
Hi all,
I want a dual boot system (trying to ditch Windows but still have some needed apps), and I have researched dual booting. It seems Windows doesn't play nice with other OSs on the same drive, so was wondering if I could have a laptop with 3 HDDs (or SSDs): 1*win10, 1*linux distro, and a...
