1 Long Beep 3 short beeps:

Hi all, bought this PC a couple weeks ago. I was on Cyberpunk last night and the whole PC just turned off and now I've got this issue.

I've moved the Rams with no luck.
I've tried to make sure the GPU is connected properly by removing and reinstalling.
Currently having no problem with the onboard graphics card while writing this post. Does that mean the GPU is done?
I've deleted the driver for the GPU (uninstalled) and now because the system won't recognise it, I can't reinstall the driver.

Losing my mind figuring this out. Any help is good help.

  • Would you know the model of the motherboard?
  • When you have the GPU plugged in and turn on the PC, do the fans on the GPU spin for a couple of seconds?
  • Does the PC boot with the GPU installed?

Unfortunately not, Z590 chipset (fc3497A1b983 is the number I can see on it)
Fans did not move during the power up, but the gigabyte led is on.
If you mean physically yes, but it doesn't show up on the computer. As long as the hdmi/dp is plugged into the onboard it's fine to boot up, if it's in the gpu ports the beep and 'display no signal' comes up on the monitor.

Yeah if it works fine when using the integrated graphics but wont even recognise the existence of the GPU I'd be thinking aa GPU issue - especially as it has been reseated already.

Since it was from Currys then @WastingCache you will have to either go through Currrys or talk to PCS about getting it registered on their system so they can support it - noting that you really want to do this anyway (if you haven't already done this) - if you haven't you will need the proof of purchase for to register it
