I did contact customer support and it seems that the Octane 4K panel is IPS, but not the 1080p pane;, which is a shame.Call PCS and ask them for the panel model. The panels are subject to change so just because someone got X 2 months ago doesn't mean you'll get X if you order today. If you call them and find out, do let us know as it's always interesting and could be helpful to others in a similar position.

I have to admit the speakers are my favourite feature. When paired with a gain boosted VLC it actually gives a very good experience for watching movies.

Recently bought this as a upgrade as well as my first ever purchase from pc specialist I hope my spec is as good as yours and now reading what happened after delivery I can definitely look forward to setting it up and play my games on it (unfortunately due to my job I will be a while before I can do all of it) thank you for the insight just one question were you informed on what was happening with the build did they send you like pictures of the laptop or videos telling you what's going on

No they don't. In fact your build will spend 98% of its time in pre-production, once it moves into build it's built, tested and shipped in around three days.

Sorry if this question is out of the blue I ordered my laptop with a operating system do I have to instal any software when I get it delivered or is everything installed and up to date?
