according to PCS, the same build other than the cards, the 6970s use 120w more than the 580s, dont know where you got those stats from

PSU calculator says that the 6970s use 8 more watts than the 580s

Hmm all of the major hardware sites say that the 6970 uses less power, the only explanation I can think of is that the ones tested are different to the ones that PCSpecialist use (unless the power supply calculator is producing false information).

-->Musicguy, if you're going with 6970's just get 2 not 3.
