5800x3D - Best cooler?

Hello, gonna buy a 5800x3D system soon, which of the three Elite Cappellix coolers would be ideal, h100i, h115i or h150i. Just for gaming, not worried about the aesthetics but the quieter the better as I've read online they may be quite noisy? I assume the h150i would have the best cooling though?

I'd suggest just adding it to here, keeps things nice and tidy, in the meantime give this a read, it will help folk to give you advise

Build looks good, just a heads up though..... the 5800X3D is going to be replaced next month by the 7800X3D. Given you're looking for longevity, I would suggest that getting the latest generation would give the best potential.

For 5+ years you will more than likely need a GPU upgrade though.

Yeah ive had my PC since 2011 and had to replace my 560 ti after 7 years but the rest is still working so i will prob have to replace the GPU at some point. Will the h150i elite capellix be ok for this build, im not sure which will run quietest? I will wait until the new chips come out and price things up, I have to wait until the 3070 come back anyway! cheers

There's not going to be a lot in it to be honest. The H115i would likely be the quietest option, especially with just gaming considered.

Assuming the 3070 does come back. I’ve noticed stock of 30 series cards starting to dry up in retail stores as Nvidia pushes the new 40 series range.

I was thinking maybe just have the 3060ti, it would save me some money and i've heard its good value and good at 1440p.
The difference between 3070 and 3060 Ti isn't that much. They're actually very similar under the hood: the 3060 Ti is much more similar to a 3070 than to a 3060, which is kind of stupid! Definitely what I'd suggest for you.
