6 Displays?

Hi, looking to buy a pc for our Sea Cadet unit to run sophisticated ships simulator, want to to set up 3 large screens which will show the view from bridge front, port and starboard. 3 more small below the large ones which will be radar, ships controls and navigation. Will the spec attached drive 6 display's? if not do we need 2 pc's. Thanks in advance.

For a start what is the simulation software you are using and can you provide recommended specifications for it or a webpage listing its details?

Hi, the simulation software is Rembrandt V6, hopefully the will be advising on the spec of the machine as well but their minimum requirement is *Intel i5 6600k *16GB DDR4 Memory *GeForce GTX 2060 or better *Windows 11OS.
My main concern is will the pc be able to actually drive all displays from the Graphics card i've chosen, i was trying to avoid having multiple PCs.

Ok so leaving aside the software requirements as that is an unknown the answer I think is no. Going off of NVIDIA's specs for the card it only supports 4 displays.

I think some of the quadfro cards (lower end so budget isn't too bad) have better support for over 4 monitors. You have to make sure the max resolution supports your monitors.

I'm incorrect on looking further, they're all a max of 4.

The quadro's tend to support a higher overall resolution.

You'd need to do dual GPU's.

But all depends on the resolution of the monitors? Could you copy and paste the specs as PDF's can contain viruses?

I'm not convinced this will work the way you intend. Does the software support dual GPUs? You can certainly plug 6 monitors into 2 GPUs, but will the software allow utilisation across 2 separate GPUs?

IME most software will only run with 1 GPU, the multi-monitor setups you see for simulation tend to be the main software running on 3-4 screens with a secondary software running on the other 2 (either via networked PC or via plugin connection).
