No razors for 4 years now. Tbh I started shaving quite early but after 25 years of every 2-3 days it got to being an awful chore.
I never got used to those old school razors though and the best all round I found was a twin blade disposable that Tesco have long since withdrawn. I used Gillette (ugh) Fusion for a few years after as I couldn't be doing with faffing and Wilkinson Swords were like actual swords. Might have been me but after they introduced that guard wire to the range I'd have been better off letting a feral cat shave me, seriously. I mean, what genius thought putting cheese wire on top of razor blades would be face friendly?
Now and for a good while I've just used the shortest setting/head on a set of clippers for the mush and since the pandemic put paid to frivolous expeditions (and cos I used to be short sighted to near blindness used to get major anxiety getting my hair cut, especially when the razor came out) I whisk the same, with a 12mm cut, over my head every few weeks too. I get scalp psoriasis, a part of the autoimmune thing, so staying short helps with treating it and keeping cool.
