Not sure where to post this so please move to correct place

Hi

I have had a PC built through PCSpecialist and they have done an amazing job.

I’ve self installed my 3080 card and it needs 3 8 pin connectors to it (msi x trio version)

I’ve managed to plug in an additional cable to the PSU by opening the back but it was a struggle as there’s so many cables back there.

I’ve seen you can lift the covers at the bottom front side of the case but I’ve taken off all the screws but the plates still won’t lift.

The GPU is plugged in but I’ve read it’s better to use 3 separate cables. At the moment I have 2 cables connected (16 pins one one using the split) and 1 on its own

What PSU have you got?

And what do you mean by 16 pins with the split?

So that’s how it’s recommended to plugged in...

take 1 cable off and that’s how I’m plugged in (using the 2 ends of 1 cable)
