All 8 cores overheating.

I purchased a bespoke gaming rig in January 2020. All was well until last week when the temperatures started spiking. All 8 cores are idling at above 65 degrees and ramping up to between 90 and 100 degrees. I cleaned the fans and had the thermal paste renewed but this is still happening. A local company says it could be the processor but i'm not so sure since my PC boots up fine and there is no freezing or shut downs. I'm reluctant to buy a new processor if it could be my AIO cooler, any advice is appreciated.

Ok, so it's more than likely the pump has failed on the cooler, but it wouldn't be suitable for that processor anyway.

You need to not use the PC until it's replaced.

You can either do an RMA for the whole system, or just for the cooler, if you're happy replacing it yourself.

But I would strongly recommend replacing it with a Corsair H100i Capellix as a minimum.

Thanks for the advice SpyderTracks, how do I go about the RMA? If it is the cooler, i'd probably opt for the Corsair H115i elite.

H115i would certainly be better.

You can do an RMA through your online account, just go to My returns, Request an RMA, Return a component and just select the cooler.

If you want to return the whole build, then RMA the entire system.
