If it was ordered from the PCS website and hasn't been dispatched yet you can make changesHello, I’ve already bought it 😐 it was £2000. And in complete honesty I should’ve been i7 11700k (3.6)ghz. Is there any way to cool it a little more ?
Yeah the 11700K isn't good mate, just look at reviews it's a pretty bad CPU but we can build an excellent AMD system in that budget range. Can you let us know what monitor you'll be using?Hello, I’ve already bought it 😐 it was £2000. And in complete honesty I should’ve been i7 11700k (3.6)ghz. Is there any way to cool it a little more ?
It was direct of them thank godIf it was ordered from the PCS website and hasn't been dispatched yet you can make changes
Unless its one of the next-day or Review PC's
Don’t know why I just never used amd ever. Is there that much difference? And monitor can be bought to suit based on what you guy suggest. I’m dying inside now.so a £2k budget, what monitor is it being used with resolution & refresh rate or make and model?
If it isn't in production there may still be a chance that you can change it to an AMD build
The Graphics card doesn't matter if you don't have a monitor that you can pair with it mate, for a monitor to match the 3080 you're looking at £700+ for a monitor so we would really need to know at least your budget for a monitor so we can recommend something suitable
We can recommend a monitor to use per GPU as well if you need help selecting something, we're happy to do that
ok that helps a bit, so what I can say is that’s a way off at that price. And he wants 4K decent frame rate on most games if possible?
Thanks buddy and I take it 12th gen intel is fortunes? Or not worth it?AMD Ryzen CPU's are a much stronger option when compared to the 10th and 11th series Intel CPUs
There's no difference just a different website for chipset drivers which are very rarely updated anyways,
I'll put together a build here now for you
12th Gen will put you out of budget and I'll be honest I'm not the biggest fan. They run really really hot and draw a hell of a lot of power for not much of a performance gain. Especially considering AMD are ready to announce their new generation of CPU's which I have no doubt will be much much betterThanks buddy and I take it 12th gen intel is fortunes? Or not worth it?
Not that I don’t trust steveyg haha but any suggestions on a build from yourselfIf it was ordered from the PCS website and hasn't been dispatched yet you can make changes

I'm not very good at speccing up machines to be honest - I was just helping things move alongNot that I don’t trust steveyg haha but any suggestions on a build from yourself

hahaha you don’t like ssd’s or HDD’s do you 😂 and one more question bud which so you recommend for future proofing (know it’s impossible forever ha) Tbf that 12th gen intel seems like a more future proof design having z690? I’m far from an expert and still further than that. This would be a 12600K for that budget
