CORSAIR iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler (PCS Logo)

H100I ELITE CAPELLIX RGB CPU COOLER

The PCS Logo version is cheaper, and has iCUE in the name. Are they the same thing though?

Thanks in advance.

Hiya, yes they're the same, the only difference is that the PCS one comes with a PCS cap on the cooler and the fans, whereas the other one has the Asus branding

If you click on the ? to the right of the cooler selection, it shows you more details on each

Thanks mate, and apologies for posting in the wrong forum.

Might as well save a tenner and go with the PCS logo version.

The H60x is definitely a no-go then?

The H60i isn't such a great one, it's very limited in it's potential. Modern cpu's are quite highly strung as they're really maximising performance out of the box so push tollerances quite a lot further.

I was just wondering whether the H100i would be overkill for a 65W TDP Ryzen 7 7700. Would be good for future upgrades I suppose though?

You could get away with an H80i at the lower end but unfortunately PCS don't stock them anymore.

But the H100i is a sweetspot for a lot of midrange processors, it's an excellent cooler.

Just this moment paid £87.50 to upgrade to the CORSAIR iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX RGB (PCS Logo). I really need this build to go into production so that I stop upgrading it

I'm not sure whether I've messed up my build. I'm in building but realised that I had not chosen any additional case fans, so I was going to end up with 1x front and 1x exhaust.

I have the Corsair 5000D Airflow and the Corsair H100i in my build.
I amended the order to include 3x Corsair LL120 case fans, but cannot select 4 to replace the exhaust. Will these 3 fans replace the single front fan that comes pre-installed? I'm really confused about this! I have no idea how these will be configured.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

That’s really strange? The configurator says 1x front fan and 1x rear fan included. Plus reviews and unboxings show just a middle front fan, with neither a top or bottom fan.

Edit: Can confirm it's just 1x front fan and 1x exhaust that ships with the case.

Are you reading that on Corsair though?

Just spoken to a very helpful gentleman at PCS over the phone and he confirmed that as stock the case would ship with 1x front middle and 1x exhaust (along with AIO CPU coolers etc), unless extra case fans are specified.

He has put a task through to request that the 3x corsair LL120 fans are front mounted, and the additional leftover front stock fan can be mounted on the top front in the empty space next to the two slot H100i. It would look a bit strange if RGB fans were mounted above and below the middle stock fan, so this one will be moved to the top.
