I will mainly be using this for gaming as well as programming. Looking to game at 1440p with min 60fps. I will be buying a HP X27q monitor (though any suggestions are welcome).

Tried adding 3600mhz RAM but got told it isn't compatible with 13th gen Intel. Is it worth going down to 12th for 3600mhz ram?
My budget for the PC was about £1350 so I've gone a bit over. Just need to know if I'm missing something or added anything unnecessary.

Thanks for replying! Unfortunately I've already ordered as I need to get the PC sooner rather than later and was unsure if anyone was going to reply.
While I can't amend the CPU to AMD, I think it's good enough and will allow me to make upgrades in the future.
That said, what are the differences between the modular and semi modular PSU? This is something I can amend but not sure if worthwhile.

Ah I see, your original build is alright and the bits I suggested are personal preference and small touches, the PSU being one.
Here's a copy paste explanation
"The fully-modular PSU has no cables attached to it, giving you the ability to cable manage your build much easier, have a cleaner overall look, and get the best possible airflow your case can handle. Fully-modular PSUs are typically more expensive, have braided cable sleeves, and are a bit chubbier (they’ll still fit any standard ATX-compatible case)."

Well, I suppose I'm unlikely going to need to replace the PSU unless I get a 4090 or something and I'll have to manage with cable management.
I did change my build prior to ordering (better motherboard, a SATA SSD since I realised I can just take both my m.2 ssds from my laptop). It should be alright.

I would advise a number of changes to be honest. There are some choices made that are sub-optimal. Unfortunately the changes that I would suggest increase the price a little but it will be a better performing system. You can still make changes to the build right up until it's into building, hopefully you can make these changes if you wish.

Better motherboard - Noone would recommend Gigabyte and the B660 isn't great for value IMO.
Better storage - Dedicated primary drive, way faster than the initial choice. Dedicated and fast secondary drive.
Better PSU - The RMx is well worth its price tag. Purely for the warranty, quality, silence and being fully modular. Not to mention some headroom.
Better Cooler - You need a decent cooler to get the most out of the high performance Intel offerings.

I would ditch the fast track also. There's next to no value in it. When the parts are there the build will come pretty quick anyway. You need to refund the fast track, I think, if it doesn't make it early.

Order page says it's in testing but I can also still go to the amend option so I think I can still amend.
Prior to ordering, I did change my build after looking around the forums at other 3060 TI posts. While I would like to make all the changes you've made, £1650 is too much right now.
The reason behind the SATA ssd is I can just take a WD Blue SN550 1tb (that I bought in 2021) and a Samsung 970 EVO Plus (from 2019) from my old laptop and use the WD Blue as the primary drive. While the 980 would be nice, that would be an upgrade for another day.
I could swap the PSU to 850w for £30 extra but is 750w not enough headroom. I believe the RTX 3060TI only needs 500w anyway?
