Any advice on this setup?

I am wanting this desktop for when I go to university, I'm hoping to use it to game from time to time so I want it to run games smoothly as well as being able to run programs like:

Revit
Photoshop
Indesign
Lumion

I'm wanting to become an Architectural Technologist and I need this computer to run these programs smoothly and efficiently plus allow me to have some good gaming time too like playing Elden ring and other stuff, but I'd like for it to stay under or just on £1,800, if anyone has any advice or changes which would help me out I'd appreciate it a lot.

Hi mate, I use a lot of Revit with work so I generally know where that program sits performance wise. If I had £1800 to buy a computer this is what I'd do

Sacrificed a little on the storage but I balanced out the rest of the build to compromise. It's easy and cheap to add an internal HDD later

Removed Norton Antivirus. It's practically a virus itself, Windows Defender is free and built into Windows and it's just as good as any commercial AV but it works natively so it's much less of a resource hog

Yes, the motherboard doesn't support Wifi out of the box, so Steve has added the AX-200 wifi card to the spec to give you 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi connectivity.

I am planning on getting this desktop for uni, at this time it costs around £1838. I would like it to stay around this price with a maximum of £1875 if possible. I am studying architectural technology and need it to run certain programs smoothly and I would like to game in my spare time with no issues such as Elden Ring. So it's expected, most areas of computer equipment will rise around 20% in the upcoming months. Which is why I'm keen to see the price of the motherboards. I was somewhat surprised as well that the CPU prices weren't higher than the last launch, given inflation. But we've yet to know how...
