Hello- Moving from a gaming laptop to a desktop as I finally have the space and money. I’m afraid I don’t know much spec wise, so I’m unsure if anything is ‘off’.
Wouldn’t like to go over €3k incl vat and delivery.
I play a variety of different games, but my laptop has trouble running Cities Skylines with mods and custom assets right now. So I built with that in mind as well as Baldur’s gate 3 which I’d like to play in future.

I cant advise too much on the build as new(ish) to desktops myself having, like you, been gaming on laptops for many years. Howeve,r a couple of questions that I think will help the others advise a bit on this for you:

1) do you have a need for 64gb RAM? ie large programs / processing items / maybe photo processing etc? Otherwise, 32gb ram is usually sufficient.

2) you have selected a 1080p monitor - is that preference or if someone can help get a 1440p build in place with a 1440p monitor - is that something you would consider?

3) I see you have selected US International keyboard? Just want to check that is right?

I don’t think I do have a need for anything more than 32gb or RAM, definitely will change that.
I would go for a 1440p monitor, I think. I might have to look elsewhere as I’m hoping for something 27” and curved and it seems there aren't many options available. Will have to do some searching.
I'm so used to the US international keyboard, I just keep it out of habit. Thanks for the help!
