Any comments on a build before I spend a lot of money?

Hello,

If anyone more capable and knowledgeable than I can review the specs below I'd appreciate it, it's the Tomb Raider Ultra build with a tweak for memory.

Given that it's a suggested build I don't forsee amy issues, but I wanted to check.

I'm aiming to invest more now and not have to replace parts for a long time.

I'm planning on running it with two 24 inch monitors, I haven't chosen them yet and would be happy for any suggestions?

This doesn't look optimal. Can you give us your budget, the resolution/refresh rate you want to aim for and if you'll be doing anything other than gaming on this system?

For starters:
- An AMD build is likely to be better, cheaper or both.
- 4x8GB RAM modules will be slower than 2x16GB, and you've chosen relatively slow modules anyway.
- The RTX2080S is great, but way more than you need unless you're looking for 4K resolution, or 1440p on an ultra-wide monitor (the latter is a fantastic option, but the monitors are not low-budget).
- Your SSDs are bottlenecked by the SATA interface, getting at least one of them as an M.2 would give you much higher speeds (so shorter boot/loading times).
- That wireless card isn't great - the next option up is only £10 more expensive and a lot better.
- Can't see what warranty you've gone for, but at least go for the Silver one.

Agree with above, if just for gaming 16GB RAM is enough and the current AMD CPUs are miles beter than Intel. Drop the SSD and go for a Samsung m2 NVMe SSD as they are about the best around and very much quicker than a SATA drive.
