Any suggestions on this build?

This specs are currently hitting my top budget so I actually have no room for expensive tweaks. I can only do minor upgrades or need to balance the sum by downgrading another part.

I am a moderate gamer but I will use relatively gpu dependent applications. I don't want to go lower than 3060 and going up makes a huge impact. So RTX 3060 seems like a constant to me.

Besides daily general usage and moderate gaming, I will be using 3d softwares (Maya, Houdini) and photo/video editing applications.
However, I won't be doing any serious GPU/CPU rendering.
I will probably won't need to do any overclocking. In fact, I prefer it quiet.

I am planning to partition the 2TB into 500 / 1500.
1500 is currently enough for me to play around. I have couple of TBs extra HDDs which I can tuck in for extra storage. And later at some point I will probably get another M.2 drive.

Most people (so did the build configurator) will probably point out the fact that I wont need a 1000W power supply with this system.
The reason for that is, I am aiming to keep the psu load under 50% (on idle or just above it). This way the psu fans won't (at least shouldn't) spin, making the build much more quiet. However this logic is open to debate.

Case
COOLERMASTER SILENCIO S600 QUIET MID TOWER CASE
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 12-Core Processor i7-12700KF (3.6GHz) 25MB Cache
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 (LGA1700, USB 3.2, PCIe 5.0) - ARGB Ready
Memory (RAM)
64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (4 x 16GB)
Graphics Card
12GB ASUS DUAL GEFORCE RTX 3060 - HDMI, DP, LHR
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB SEAGATE FIRECUDA 530 GEN 4 PCIe NVMe (up to 7300MB/R, 6900MB/W)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Processor Cooling
Corsair H100x Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler

I trimmed down the list to only the ones I chose. Everything other than listed here are defaults.

Other than any other very-welcome suggestions, I wonder why the Processor Cooling options are so limited. Does anyone know anything about that?

Ah Houdini... fantastic piece of software! Are you a technical artist? Game dev?

Anyway I am no PC building expert but you don't need a 1000W power supply with that GPU, so you might shave a bit off by lowering that to 650w or some such.

Also I am going Ryzen 5900x which might be better value than i7 (not certain) and am using a "Corsair iCUE H115i RGB" CPU cooler which has great reviews.

Other than that there isn't much you can do to save money what with the supply/demand issues around GPUs these days.

I am actually a character TD, more experienced with Maya but I use Houdini in a daily basis too. However at home I use Houdini for procedural modeling for 3d printing stuff :)

I am a little bit sceptical against AMD but I will definetely check. As far as I know, 12th generation of intel cpus are quite competetive, but not sure.

I briefly mentioned about the reason for 1000W power supply actually:
"The reason for that is, I am aiming to keep the psu load under 50% (on idle or just above it). This way the psu fans won't (at least shouldn't) spin, making the build much more quiet. However this logic is open to debate."

I'll check the Corsair iCUE H115i RGB but I guess it will be a big budget bump. But the case I chose does not have a glass window so it may be a little waste of RGB features hehe.
