Assistance needed

Got a email today confirming it was a fault with the CPU- they confirmed they have tested individual parts and eventually found it to be the CPU (so potentially was also bios setting needed adjusting/ windows issues during previous testing with other processor). They have confirmed they identified this problem yesterday and ran a stress test over night and the error has not reoccurred since the fresh install of windows, and no more WHEA logs. They have dispatched as next day delivery so my old PC will be back with me tomorrow or friday. They also installed a fresh replacement CPU for free!

Thanks for all your assistance, help and guidance - when it comes to hardware it’s like another language to me, so PpreciTe your patience in explaining everything to me!

Fingers crossed it comes back and this error does not reoccur, as i had this same issue since the first year of having PC!

When you get it back, post in the technical support section, we can guide you through a couple of basic stress tests (won't hurt the system at all), just to be sure everything is as it should be, we'd focus on CPU, GPU and cooling and be certain it's stable under 100% loads.

Just for peace of mind, then we know there's not something possibly existing now should something crop up later on down the road.

When you get it back, post in the technical support section, we can guide you through a couple of basic stress tests (won't hurt the system at all), just to be sure everything is as it should be, we'd focus on CPU, GPU and cooling and be certain it's stable under 100% loads.

Friday would be good as then you’ve got the weekend with it.

Im so pleased they caved in and took a look, from what was quite a sucky start, fingers crossed it’s worked out well.
