Automated Email build dates

If PCS had been open about the build time from the start they would have made more money as I would have paid for fast track.

I can +1 this. I too would of paid for 5 day fasttrack if they had told me the real times... I phoned them up and told them to get a shift on because I needed it by next friday and today it went in to building so maybe a phone call does help. I was going to phone and cancel today at 3 but luckly it went in to building at 11.

Mine now says in building, but I got an email saying it's awaiting testing. With any luck it might be dispatched tomorrow

Out of intrest, my email says 'your order has now been built and is awaiting testing and config' but on the website it says 'in building'.

Is it the same for you?

That's because it hasn't gone into testing yet , and there is no 'awaiting building' status.

I think I will give them a call in the morning for an idea of when it is likely to be built. I really don't want to cancel so hopefully it will be good news.

My Lafité II has finally went into building on it's 14th working day... Hopefully I should receive it late next week if nothing goes wrong!

I called them and was advised mine realistically won't be in building until Tuesday and likely, but not guaranteed, to be dispatched until Thursday. Disappointing but very nice chap on the phone was very apologetic. Seriously considering cancelling now. 13 working days at least after telling me 7-9 when taking my money.

Currently on 10th working day and still down as in pre-production. I rang last night and was told that it should be going into build in the next few days. Hopefully that will mean Monday and it will be delivered by the end of next week.

Mine went into building today, I had phoned them up on 18th (Monday) and was told it was 5th in line to be built. Bit weird how it took 4 more days to start being built if it was only 5th in line? But that doesnt take into account fasttrack services, which obviously get bumped to the top of the queue. If I had known it was going to take 3 weeks from when I ordered it to dispatch, I would also have paid the extra to get it in a week.

Same here, processed and pre-production dates exactly the same as yours, still sat in pre-production. Hope it makes it into build soon.

When I called on Friday the nice guy said it would 'probably' go into building tomorrow (Tuesday). Good luck!

Just had the email informing me that my laptop has now been built and is awaiting testing. Hoping it goes through as quickly as everyone says it does from this point, I'd like to be able to play with it this weekend!
