Oh yeh. If anyone wants to know how he gets it, dont ask. The guy gets everything for free. Free xbox360, free PS3, last week he got a new 50" TV for free from HMV

Its not the MoH open Beta, its a random email they send if they have you email address. I was lucky enough to get one, but its only one mp map and so far iv only managed to finnish it once without it crashing, so your not missing much.

Exactly, but as far as alphas go its not bad appart from the random crash its very playable, and the graphics are better than I expected in alpha stage.

kind of regret playing it tho, should have waited for full release! :S

Who says its all illegal? Surely some of them are genuine testers, they wouldnt just be doing an alpha release on pc, would be testing on all consoles too.

The alpha test is PC only as it uses a web based server browser, its not the seemingly leaked version liamnic2 has.

There was a non disclosure agreement I had to agree to in order to play the test, which is why im not giving you guys anny details on the game...yet :D

But some people are still posting vids on youtube against the NDA, after which they get banned.

I DONT have alpha incase anyone got confused. There IS a leaked version of the game though which does allow online play. Its mostly popular in North USA

The version I got can be played on PC and Xbox. Only prob is when on PC it goes into a small window

Questions

1) When does the alpha end? July 19th-August 1st
2) can the controls be customised?
3) will the web based server browser be in the full game?
4) will the full game have more custom options for graphics
5) is that map limited to 32 players or is it just because it's in alpha

edit: shame the controls can't be customised? or could they >.< they only option i found was for the graphics settings which were limited to vsync, resolution, and low normal high -.- .... it did look good though >.<

From the shadows from the tree's, how the light flourishes through the leaves, the water could of been a bit better though ;)
Best bit was in the underground "subway" some awesome lighting effects.... only thing i didnt like were some of the surfaces were overly shiny, like they were covered in cling film... the floor looked awful ;)
at first i didnt really notice any changes from bad company 2... then realised how fluid everything felt, it feels much better to play with ;)

Once your in a match you can access the options menu by pressing esc. it won't work if you're dead though

Slight Flaw There. (im a veteran Xbox 360 modder)

Firstly, Jtagged Xboxs cannot go on xbox live.
Secondly, if you had the "beta" Xbox live moderators will surely ban you!
And Finally, for you to even run a game that was for a jtag you would have to have a jtag or a flashed xbox, in both cases, you go on live and you'd be banned forever :)

I have bf3 alpha and it wont even work, says my 580 drivers are out of date, however nvidia update states that im fully updated

WORKING!

I have the alpha code! :) i was emailed too about it an received my code. its pretty much their test run. not sure if its linked to MoH Code or not but i think it is because i had an email before this invitation about bf3 demo/alpha participates and a couple days after i was invited.

Can we get some FPS statistics with various GPU's? Or is the Alpha version not good enough to measure the estimated FPS?

I wouldnt think there is much point in measuring things in Alpha. It'll either look far too good, or rubbish, but either way not really providing us Full Releasers owt useful :)
