That does seem a bit contradictive......if someones build has gone into production with the 6800. I knew my pc would be in the new year anyway so I dont mind lol

I ordered mine 29th Sept. But originally I had ordered it as a 3900x and 3080 gpu. Obviously with the 5000 series changed to a 5900x originally as wanted generation to generation jump . But after more research and being aware that it's a great value cpu finally out doing Intel for single thread at last. Sadly I and I think most power users who researched the product became aware that it was a paper launch. Also in a previous message AMD I think over extended themselves with cpu, gpu and both consoles all launching at the same time.

Now personally I think if AMD hadn't been the choice for the consoles there would have been more silicon available for them against NVidia.

In the end as long as you have thought about the mother board you have the ability to upgrade for another few gens of gpu. Cpu wise the 5000 series are beasts and Intel are now in my opinion at least 3 gens behind AMD . But competition is good for all of us.

Hopefully all who are waiting for builds get them soon. I know it stressed me out which is why i ended up stopping watching the forum and website for a bit as it really didn't help.

Will post lots of pics once I get it.

Also want to do a shout out to the Mods , I know I was a pain and let's be honest they do this for free.

You all answered my questions and I do feel for you all with how stressful a period this has been.

👏👏 thank you all. I feel safe knowing if i need advice I can rally on this forum 8n the future.

After a fair old wait I got through to CS on the phone regards my case (275R airflow), pretty much all cases are now out of stock so i see no point in changing it, they tried to recommend some of the pcspecialist cases which weren't doing it for me.

My build is apparently still waiting on stock of the Ryzen 5600X (was supposed to have already had this based on previous chat) and the RX6800XT. They haven't received any 6800XT, they were due some in on the 2nd but they didn't arrive so they have no update on availability.

Hopefully the new year brings with it more stock of all these components so will continue to wait and see how things pan out.

As someone said they will ship eventually. They will be worth waiting for I am certain

Looks stunning! Congratulations on being the first to post Navi 2 build pics I'm really digging the Radeon logo highlight. Hope this may be the sign of many other navi 2 builds to despatch for the rest of us in the not so distant future.

same with the logo. the lii lan case is beautiful , all the RGB looks good. just finishing up setting a few bit's before i start moving all my game accounts over lol.

Just wanted to drop a quick message to let you know my pc entered build and testing phase today with a 5600x ordered on the 7th Nov and a 6800 xt ordered at 13:59 exactly on the second
so you now know they have/had some 6800xt stock in

That's good to hear. Looks like there is some movements with navi2 builds. please post pics when you can.

I'm surprised given the conversations I had with PCS lately trying to get status updates on stock arrivals.
For reference I ordered my PC (without graphics card) on 5th november with the 5900 X, then amended with the RX 6800 XT on launch day, also at 13:59 (apparently I'm 15th in the queue).
I still have no idea when they will start building mine, but definitely not before the new year.
I'm also shocked you got the 5600 X assigned to your build as they told me they wouldn't be getting the Zen 3 CPUs back in until the new year.
I also got that appology email from them saying the 5900 X is the reason my system wouldn't be built before Christmas (no mention of the 6800 XT oddly)
Anyway, congrats dude! You are one of the lucky ones who will get their system in time for Christmas!

It's very possible that when they tell customers there is no stock they probably mean that there is no stock apart from those already assigned to builds.

I suppose so, although I was told they only assign a component to a build when all other components in that build are also in stock.
If that is the case then both the 5600X and RX 6800 XT would have been in stock at the same time recently, even though they had no clue when either would be in stock (they said probably the new year) when I asked them the other day, and last week also.
I did read that post you linked about them trying to prioritise the older orders, so we'll see what happens.
