Black screen but computer running?

Hi all!

I received my PC from PCS about 4 months ago and I couldn't be happier. However, very rarely, my computer will almost faux shut off. My monitors will go completely black, my peripherals lights will turn off, but my computer will stay on. When prompted to turn off with the power button, or restart button it's unresponsive.

It's very strange, and it happened to my last computer so I'm not really sure what to make of it. Is it my computer or my power?

Anyone had any similar experiences?

Can you post your full specs from the order please so that everyone can see what build we're talking about?

That the same thing happened with a different PC does rather suggest that it's something environmental and not with the PC itself. It could well be the power.

If you're using a surge protector extension (and you should be) then replace it with a new one. That would be my first suspect.
