Thank you. I've no idea who to move beyond that second screen though?Download CrystalDisk Info (Standard Edition) and post a screenshot of the SMART data for that drive on here.
Do PLEASE backup everything on that drive NOW - just in case.
What second screen? Install CrystalDiskInfo then start it. On the window that opens click the right arrow near the top to select the appropriate drive (it cycles through them) and post a screenshot of the window on the affected drive....Thank you. How do I move past that to the desktop so that CrystalDiskInfo can be installed?
Boot the Windows install DVD or USB stick, select Repair My Computer and run Startup Repair. Thanks for the help but the PC will not boot into Windows fully.
It eventually cycles to a login screen but will not progress beyond that.
Did the Windows install media boot OK? We're you able to get into Repair My Computer? That didn't work.
Could be needing to return to PCS.
I was able to use a USB to boot to Windows Repair but none of the options have worked so far.Did the Windows install media boot OK? We're you able to get into Repair My Computer?
