I haven’t heard anything about this, you’d need to speak to PCS directly I think.Since I live in Ireland, I was wondering how the VAT on orders from within the EU would be taken care of with the post-Brexit situation.
As said, you'd need to speak to PCS directly. None of us work for PCS.I asked the same question of them on the 30th. Still waiting to hear back. Posters here may not appreciate that pcspecialist also operates under an irish domain - pcspecialist.ie
The quote I got included an Irish VAT number and Irish VAT rate, but there is no indication of what will/may happen with purchases which may be subject to excise duties? Some clarify would be appreciated before placing an order
It looks like the duty may be 3.5% but even if that's correct, its not clear is this is included in the price or not
To be fair, until everything was signed last minute, companies such as PCS could not really give a definitive answer.I asked the same question of them on the 30th. Still waiting to hear back. Posters here may not appreciate that pcspecialist also operates under an irish domain - pcspecialist.ie

Hi Niamh I asked the same question and got a reply saying that PCS will pay any import fees when the system arrives in Ireland if you get any more clarification or whatever I'd love to hear it B)Hey,
I've emailed them just today with the same query - tried ringing and was on hold for 45 minutes and still only 12th in the queue at 4.55 so had to give up!
Have you heard anything back from them yet if you can please let me know their response
Thanks!
This is beautiful news 😎
I can confirm this is the case. Received my order today (Ireland) with no additional VAT or custom duty charges.
Hey, I'm also from Ireland but Fedex refuse to ship to me unless I supply them with an EORI number? Did you have to do anything like that in order to receive your PC?I can confirm this is the case. Received my order today (Ireland) with no additional VAT or custom duty charges.
The VAT number was on the invoice. Appently the EORI is the 'IE' + the first 7 digits of the VAT number.Hey, I'm also from Ireland but Fedex refuse to ship to me unless I supply them with an EORI number? Did you have to do anything like that in order to receive your PC?
As a general rule, EORI numbers in Ireland are identic with the VAT numbers and are identified by the following rule: the use of the prefix "IE" and a number comprised of 7 digits. Economic operators in Ireland are required to submit their EORI numbers on the Single Administrative Document at the Irish Revenue. https://www.lawyersireland.eu/eori-registration-in-ireland#:~:text=As a general rule, EORI,Document at the Irish Revenue.
Oof, wish I had known that a while ago. Thank! The VAT number was on the invoice. Appently the EORI is the 'IE' + the first 7 digits of the VAT number.
