BSOD when playing games.

I got windows 11 from Microsoft site and installed to usb

I installed all windows updates and gpu driver latest version from nvidia site and optional updates.

Installed furmark.

Not installed any peripherals.

But soon as I do same on new drive in top slot it crashes.

When installed 2nd drive on bottom slot. It's all fine no issues

I would uninstall the new drive again and reinstall it, may just not be fitted quite right.

If you can post your fulll specs again as well, there may be some PCIe lane sharing going on with multiple drives.

Which model drive is in the top primary slot and which is in the second?

Ohhhh well never mind. Still having issues. Still crashing on main drive. Gpu stress test been running all night on 2nd drive no issues. Will phone PCspecalist up Tuesday

Right guys. Am thinking faulty nvme drive.

Uninstalled windows of both drives.

Removed 2nd drive altogether and installed windows on main drive firecuda and tried nvme in both slots. All windows upto date. Gpu upto date. Did gpu stress test within 5min bsod

Installed windows on 2nd drive and removed firecuda drive. Did stress test on 2nd drive over 2 hours and not crashed. Tried 2nd drive in bot slots and don't crash. Am thinking faulty drive once again

Yes. I sent the faulty drive back. They sent me brand new NVMe. Received yesterday. Installed windows on new drive did all latest windows update and latest gpu driver update. Did a stress test gpu. Within 5min got bsod. On new drive. So I tried new drive in bottom slot on motherboard still same. No other drive installed at the time

I removed new drive. Installed windows on 2nd drive did all updates for window and gpu. No other drive installed. Over 2hours stress test with gpu and no issues. Placed 2nd drive into bottom slot on motherboard.. Stress test. Once again. No issues. Am getting constant bsod and crashes using new drive but not my old drive

Been in touch with PCspecalist. I explained everything I have done to try and resolve the issue. They think again it's the drive. Have to resend back but they going send me replacement different make/model. Hopefully will get it sorted this time.

I thought that. But I have no issues with 2nd nvme drive in either slot.. Only happening with new drive. If it was motherboard would it happen with 2nd drive aswell

As stated. Tested both drives 1 at a time in both slots without any other nvme installed did all windows update and gpu update and chipset driver.. Did cpu stress test and gpu stress test. Can leave over 2hours no issues with 2nd nvme.

Do exact same with new nvme and soon as I do gpu stress test. Within 5min bsod and I have to force shut PC down

I spoke to guy at PCspecalist. He said sound like faulty drive. I mentioned motherboard he stated I can't see it being motherboard if other drive works fine in both slots without issues

He said run cmd and health check. I done that already. He said we will send u another drive different make but with near enough same r/w speed see what happens

See what happens with the new drive they send you, but if that also causes problems then straight into your main account and sort RMA

Got update. DPD will be delivering my NVMe Drive sometime tomorrow. Hopefully all is good....

Quick update. Got new drive. Tried to install windows on to new Drive BSOD instant. I been on phone to them. They told me to update bios which i have done and still same. They think its motherboard that is at fault... I cant even transfer steam games over as it also crashes. I asked about motherboard replacement. They dont have this motherboard in stock anymore. What is the next best motherboard to purchase. Thanks.

Thinking it's the motherboard is not a diagnosis, it's a guess.

Let them diagnose it first and they’ll tell you your options, think you’re getting a bit ahead of yourself.

Yes. Think am going ring back tomorrow and get RMA. They told me. Its strange that i have had 3 new NVMe Replacement and still happening. ( They also told me ) If i can get another drive to test around same speed as the firecuda see if still happens maybe try another NVMe but abit lower speed. if another drive crash around same speed as the firecuda and another lower speed drive doesn't.. That's when they told me it sounds like motherboard issue. as i dont have issues with low speed NVMe. as i have PCS and no issues. They stated. Install windows on PCS drive and install games on Firecuda see what happens. NVMe showing but when i try install games on. the drive comes up with a error.
I downloaded crystal Disk Mark. Firecuda wont even write on that..
