Can't really give you any opinions until we know what you are gonna use the system for (it might be under or over kill). You'll need to copy in the url so that the gurus can give it a tweak where needed, also what monitor are you using/intending to buy? The 2080 Super is a heavyweight and if you have a 1080p monitor for example, it's a waste of money

I'll be using it for gaming mostly, hell let loose, squad, mount and blade etc. Maybe some VR gaming. I'll be using the LG 27GL850-B 27" 2560X1440 NANO IPS 144HZ 1MS

If you havent done so already, up the warranty to gold at least, doesnt cost a bomb either.

I dont know the price difference but if the pennies are tight you could always change to the 3700x which for gaming is top tier, anything more than that and it might be a waste (unless you plan on streaming or using other programs that need the extra cores). Like @Nursemorph has said, spend the money on a better SSD

Hey thanks for all the advice, I'm going to put the Samsung 970 and change to the tuf motherboard @Nursemorph , I only went for the rog strix mb to match my gpu but its obviously not necessary just me being fussy :) Oh also I think upgrading to the gold warranty is a good idea @Grumpywurzel

Well iv received my pc and I'm really not happy, big dent in the side. The main thing I'm not happy with is the way they put the fans in, im no expert so correct me if im wrong on anything but im guessing the cpu cooler fans wouldn't fit in the roof because of the motherboard but instead of contacting me they've just put them in the front over the case fans which is pointless in my opinion. Also im sure Iv seen on there website that they'll put extra fans in where necessary so I was expecting a rear extraction fan as it didn't give me a opinion to buy a single rear fan. Obviously the pc is going back because of the damage.

They’ll only put extra fans in if you order them.

Obviously that dent isn’t warranted, was the delivery box damaged?

I will send a message to the admins about the radiator being on the front as we’ve had a few of those and it’s not satisfactory imho, I totally agree.

Difficult to tell from the pictures but that could have been a combination of the over-sized Strix motherboard and what appears to be a smaller case. The dent is definitely a no-go.

With some cases, they seem to have decided to add a rear fan even though it doesn't come from the manufacturer with one (the Focus G case being an example). However, they would list a rear exhaust fan in the spec for that case in the confugrator if they were adding one...they don't add them otherwise, even if the case doesn't have one as not all cases have/need rear fans
Iv just misunderstood the whole rear fan situation, yeah i was gutted when I saw the dent. I thought I'd be gaming tonight, no such luck

Just curious which case is that ? @PykeyFish
Corsair TD500 Mesh, it came up as compatible but with the cpu cooler but I think it should of flagged something when I added the motherboard because putting fans over other fans is pointless and it means iv only got one source of airflow into the machine.

Yes defo, least they could have put the stock fans from the front on the rear and top... Sad part is i was stuck on building for a week because of a scratch and my machine, when it eventually comes, will look just like that... im already prepared to move things around myself. Because surely im not sending it back and waiting another month.

Yeah when your spending this much on a pc they could of at least moved the fans to better positions or contacted me and asked what I'd like to do, you shouldn't have to start taking the pc apart and moving stuff yourself, i mean its in the name of the company pc(specialist) there ment to know how to build pc's
