Hey guys, looking at really utilising my new HP X27i quad hd 144hz monitor and doing a pc build for warzone, rather than getting a console. The spec is as follows. Is this going to be good enough? Some of my friends think it may be overkill?

Hey there, we'll need to know your budget before giving any advice. Also, Intel is currently a very bad choice. They have no Gen 4 M.2 support, security issues, poor thermals and performance behind AMD for more expensive than the equvalent chip. I'd recommend having a read of this thread and reconsidering.

If this is a PC you've already bought? Cancelling and changing to AMD will probably be the route to go if that's the case

Thanks for the quick response. Looking at spending about £1700. All up for changing from intel. Just be happy with whatever will be best at this price range. Or even if I need to spend that much. Thanks again

Hey there, I've already replied to the thread you've put in a different category. Try and keep all your posts relating to the same purchase in one thread as it'll help other users better track the history of the discussion

Fantastic. This should be a solid 1440p 144hz build.

The 5600X is a fantastic Chip for gaming from AMD and the 3060TI is a good card capable of 1440p 144hz if you lower your settings a touch. You could upgrade to a 3070 to really max out the monitor but you'd have to sacrifice in other areas. The 500GB SSD for Windows will have it launched instanty, the 1TB SSD will have plenty of space for your games, and the 2TB HDD is tonnes of space for general file storage. The RM 850W PSU may seem overkill now but it's important to go for a high quality power supply as it's what will keep your PC alive. The 850W will also cover for almost any upgrades you decide to do in the future. The Cooler Master 240 AIO will keep the 5600X nice and cool, the AX200 wifi card is well worth it if you use wireless as it also adds Bluetooth for £1 more than the wifi version of the motherboard. The antivirus is known to cause issues so I've removed it and the Silver warranty is a no brainer for £5.

Thanks so much for the input! The article was really helpful as well! Will order this now!
You're welcome!

Just a note, as I'm sure you're aware, there is currently massive demand and little supply for the new 30 series GPU's meaning there are increased wait times. It's not too bad for the 3060TI but I believe the average wait time from order to build is about 30-40 working days (or 1 to 2 calendar months) although this is subject to change depending on how many deliveries PCS gets. A good way to get an estimate for how long yours will be is in this thread which is full of other 3060TI buyers discussing their wait times. Just thought I'd tell you this in case you weren't aware as we have previously had people wondering where there PC's are on working day 14 despite the current demand for PC's and the average being more than that anyway.

Pop on over here for estimated delivery times....

There is a bit of a wait at the moment, but hopefully things start getting a bit quicker soon.
