Build my pc!

So looking to get a decent gaming PC, and with Nvidia’s latest announcement of cards it’s really interested me.

So I’m getting a PS5 and was going to grab the Xbox series x to but I’ve been thinking going PS5 and PC...
So I’ve only ever built myself 1 pc a long time ago so go easy on me.

I am looking at the 3080 cards, what’s the difference between the brands? I’ve seen that ASUS cards are more expensive...

can anyone throw me a list of hardware that they would recommend for good performance on the latest games now days? Will <£2000 work?

Will need a whole setup, I will be looking for a 4K monitor, 120hz maybe, I enjoy games but won’t be anything properly competitive.

will be used mainly for gaming but I may do some none professional graphic design to (not really important).

will be used for a variety of games, FPS, some survival, MMO.
