10th gen supports upto 2933 i believeI am interested in Vyper 17 with 10875H cpu.
Is it possible to install faster RAM like 2933Mhz or 3200Mhz?
Crucial Ballistix SO-DIMM DDR4 3200MHz 2x16GB (BL2K16G32C16S4B)
Kingston HyperX Impact SO-DIMM DDR4 2933MHz 2x16GB (HX429S17IBK2/32)
The 3200Mhz ram specs are 1.35v.10th gen supports upto 2933 i believe
It’s what the motherboard supports, not what the chipset can handle. You’d need to ask PCS directly. The 3200Mhz ram specs are 1.35v.
Do you think it will clock down to 2933Mhz?
Still waiting...Hello
I am interested in buying the faster RAM too - have you head any more about the 2933MHz version becoming available via the configurator?
Cheers
I think I will do similar. Why the 3200mhz vs 2933mhz btw? Genuine question as I didn't realise you could use 3200.I have ordered the 10875H and bought 2x16Gb 3200Mhz Ram,
I get my computer around the 10Th of May.
You can’t, it will just clock down to the maximum supported.I think I will do similar. Why the 3200mhz vs 2933mhz btw? Genuine question as I didn't realise you could use 3200.
Hey,I have ordered the 10875H and bought 2x16Gb 3200Mhz Ram,
I get my computer around the 10Th of May.
I bought my own Crucial Ballistix SO-DIMM DDR4 3200MHz 2x16GB (BL2K16G32C16S4B)Hey,
I am enjoying the discussion. I am also interested in the vyper, the 15.6.
I have asked the PCS about the RAM speeds and they did not know for sure about the possibility related with the ram. Even said, that maybe it would need an overclock.
So, what you guys ar saying, is that it does not need overclock and it accepts up to 2933MHz Ram.
Can PCS put this option available?
Or are buy your own Ram and fitting it?
Cheers,
They'll downclock to 2933 if they work.I bought my own Crucial Ballistix SO-DIMM DDR4 3200MHz 2x16GB (BL2K16G32C16S4B)
I hope they works.
I will find out when i get my Vyper.
I ordered from a Swedish shop and they claim they will run at 3200Mhz.They'll downclock to 2933 if they work.
It's not what the RAM can achieve but what the motherboard supports.I ordered from a Swedish shop and they claim they will run at 3200Mhz.
I am satisfied if they run at 2933Mhz or above.
That is true. It's not what the RAM can achieve but what the motherboard supports.
There's no such thing as 3100mhz?That is true.
They sell the one with 9750H and they said it supports 3100Mhz.
2666mhz on that chipset:yeah i wonder if actually vortex ix with 9750h supports up to 2933mhz as well, @SpyderTracks do you have any idea? im sure stock ram can be overclocked I was running it at 3000mhz with oc but im sure it just showed readings in hwinfo but actual mhz was either stock or 2933 max. I think clevo chassis pb5/70rf supports up to 2933mhz with 9750h but would like to get it confirmed, and also if oc on ram is recommended at all in laptops
