dont bother with that sound card really not worth it, only if you bought an expensive one would you really notice a difference

and personally id atleast go for the 6 core fx chip not much point in buying a old arcitecture amd chip anymore

Ah ok, I was originally going to get the most expensive soundcard but it said ideal for gaming with 3d surround etc which isn't useful really to me, the one I chose specifically said for music...

Also the 6 core fx chip makes it cheaper which I'm unsure about?

dont seem that the six core fx has any benefits, same speed, smaller cache, slower cache (part of it), the only benefit from looking at it on the PCS chart is integrated graphics, i dont know about actual benchmarks

its also has threading no? didnt realise about lower cache specs though maybe i was wrong to say that il take a look see if i can find some benchmark tests between the 2.

seems the majority of benchmarks must be bull as all the benchmarks favor the 1100t over the 8150fx maybe since PCS now stock the chips they could do a real comparison putting the 6 core fx v the phenom, il make a post asking the pcs guys.
