Buying a new pc, games... budget...

Basically I want a new desktop PC for gaming. I will mainly be doing offline gaming so I don't really care about refresh rate but I would like 1440p IF POSSIBLE. So I'm wondering if this is possible for under 1000? I figured using pc specialist is a good balance between building my own and buying something off the shelf. I don't have a monitor at the moment.

And as well as that I'd appreciate any advice on cooling/case selection because I haven't found a lot of great info on that.

Yeah not really mate, for 1440p you really need a budget of around £1600 at the minute. Hardware prices are at an all time high at the minute unfortunately

What you've posted above is a entry level 1080p build

This would be the minimum I would recommend, it's worth it to stretch the budget to include a 5600x though it's miles ahead of the 3600

Also included a decent enough case and PSU that you can upgrade this later down the line, this would be a solid 1080p build that would allow upgrades later
