With total respect to you and not ment to be a patronizing comment but you would be better of buying a ps5 and hooking a mouse and keyboard up to it with a £500 ish budget it would run new games better at a higher resolution with faster fps

Still wondering how a console can be such a low price (PS5) for the performance it gives... £350 at its lowest original retail price for being able to play at 120FPS any of the newest titles WITH 16 gb of RAM!!! I probably missed some other cool features it has, but those 2 alone show that its Insane. Sony did a great job with it for its price-point

They lose money on them and them make it back, with things like subscription fee’s.

Something that should also be pointed out is you went for a CPU with intgrated graphics, and a GPU on top....that in itself will hamper the machines performance. Its also a build that would be past its useby date within a couple of years.

Off the shelf or a console would both be far better options.

As has been mentioned by other users, at your pricepoint, a console would be a much better value for money and would allow you to actually game, where as I have doubts that PC would. This is the lowest spec I'd recommend that has any point in being purchased at this moment in time. If you were to upgrade the GPU to a better unit down the line this would be a pretty decent gaming rig, and the PSU overhead would allow that.

I understand It's frustrating but honestly it'll be more frustrating when you have to get rid of the PC 2 years down the line because you can't upgrade it without replacing basically every part
