Hi,
I am looking to get a custom built pc.

I am looking for AMD cpu but not sure which one to go for, the only one I know of is the 7800x3d but it says its not available, can anyone advise what one I should get instead?

Also if the Motherboard says it has wifi7 does that mean I dont need a seperate network card? I dont have a ethernet so will be on wifi so would like which ever option is better.

Any advise will be much appreciated.

Thanks for letting me know on this!

I am using a 144hz monitor and looking for gaming (mainly fortnite but also some highly modded fallout)

I'd ideally like to keep it under £1800

I wouldn't just get a random CPU simply because stocks aren't available.

Just hang on and get the 9800X3D or if it does turn out to be delayed until January, then get the 7800X3D when it's back in stock.

The extra 3DVCache has a major impact in some games over simple raw performance. So some games on a 7800X3D vs 9700X which have roughly equivalent raw performance will still perform significantly smoother and better on the 7800X3D because of the huge Cache amount.

Here's what I'd go for a 1080p under £1800.

N.B. The 9700X is only a placeholder until the 9800X3D or 7800X3D become available again.
