That's ok and shouldn't actually need it if purchased with the PC as its burnt into BIOS, and should activate when running the OOBE, which is why asked for full spec from orders page

No that thing is not available to me! I did say didnt I that it was a gift to me !?!
I certainly dont want to annoy him asking him for this and that which he'll prob not recall or not be able to find anyway
That would make him sorry he gifted me with it and would totally take the blas off the joyous thing
But what is
"when running the OOBE"? that might be helpful if I understood the acronym

Out of box experience, which is what you do when you first set it up, without the spec we can't help, get him to transfer ownership to you officially

So do I take it the info on any of those four stickers will not be of any use in this problem?
can you get your brother to post the full spec from his orders page
I'll ask him for that but its a good job we're getting on with each other atm
would his screenshot of that page be valid enough for you??
Might I ask why its not your policy to provide the necessary details for full activation ofthe OS in the PCSpecialist manuall that comes in the box?

Get your brother to log into his PCS account and look at the spec page of the order he placed for you - on there it will show the Windows key, however you should not really need this as it embedded within the BIOS.

You will either have to get your brother to post the specs on here, get your brother to provide you with the details / transfer ownership to you, or get him to look up the key for you on the order.

We are unable to help you with it until you post the full specs and even then we wont have the Windows licence key you appear to want, you will have to contact PCS directly for it - but then they will need to speak to your brother who technically owns the machine until ownership is transferred. They wont help you directly without speaking to him first.

Because it is supplied on the order page information for the person that has paid for the licence. It is then down to that person to transfer the ownership to someone else as per the link that was provided to you before.

Ownership lies with the person ordering and paying for the machine until PCS are advised accordingly BY the original owner transferring the machine.

So for example on my order page it looks like the image below AND you will see there is a line saying Operating System and then Windows 11 - it then has an arrow onto a new line - that will be where the windows licence key is, however you shouldnt need it as it should be in the BIOS.

Okay Ive sent him that example image up there -
He is totally within his rights, isnt he to just cut and paste the number to me for me to use .. right??

The thing you said about BIOS mystifies me
"... however you should not really need this as it embedded within the BIOS."
I am totally clueless about it because Iv never been through this activation process without the printed serial number on a physical Windows OS Disc
Does that mean I can go ahead without activating the Windows OS with the product/serial number I seek?

if your brother bought W11 with the PC, when the initial setup was run it should have activated the windows install

Its definitely not activated when I last checked it yesterday
If I recall correctly this snap from my phone is of some settings dialog
(I should be able to get better screenshots when I have a half decent monitor for the thing but the display port requirement will make this screen expensive I wont have one for a while yet)

There is a possibility he may not have ordered it with Windows then and you’ll have to buy a licence.

If he is logging into the account he is better off copying and pasting the entire spec of the order to you as per the instructions in the post linked above because if you have any queries we won’t be able to help you without knowing the full spec.

Please note as well the forums aren’t really manned by PCS staff, but previous customers who have hung around to help others out. If you need Proper PCS support then you’d need to phone, email them or message through the account but you’d need the account details / warranty / PC ownership transferred to you.

We love you Ukraine
Your brother would need to transfer ownership to you, that will give you access to the account, without that you’re going to have issues going forward and you won’t be eligible for any support

The key issue here is that we are only allowed to assist PCS customers on these fora and since you didn't buy this PC from PCS you're not (yet) a PCS customer. That's why we can't help you much. We see this all the time with second-hand PCS computers. Also, these fora are not an official PCS support channel. Although they are run by PCS none of us work for them, we're all PCS customers who enjoy helping out.

The only way we can help you is if you become a PCS customer. You do that by getting your brother to contact PCS and transfer the ownership of the PC to you. That's not just important for help on here, but you need to become the owner in order to get the warranty transferred to you. Currently only your brother can make a warranty claim, you can't.
