Can't get through on helpline..

Anyone else trying to get through to pc specialist? Been on hold for 3 hours now...I kid you not. Been caller number one for an hour. Is there only one person working today and they've gone on lunch?! So frustrating.

Its a bank holiday in the UK are you sure they are open?

So they're open but maybe only one person working then...!
I know the wait times before Christmas were extremely long. I can only assume with all the people who received PCS devices over Xmas have aggravated things.

Feel like giving up after 3 hours and try again tomorrow... But what if it's as bad then I have to start all over again?!

What's the problem you are trying to get sorted, anything that we might be able to help with on the forum, if so then do a new post in the appropriate forum

Is this PCS enquiry with respect to an existing account/ order/ delivery. If it is, go to the PCS page and open 'my account' on the top line. In the 'Tech Support' drop down list, type a 'New Message' about your concerns (or whatever) and send to tech support.
The last time I used this I had a reply in 30 minutes.(but it was 7 years ago)

I was the manager on shift today, instead of working Boxing Day we voted to work our Saturday shift as a Monday.

for perspective I had 5 colleagues on the phones, 1 dedicated to refunds, 1 on emails and myself on emails, complaints and other tasks.

call queues reached 53 at one point with a wait time of around 4 hours. 2 of our staff members were on 2 hour long tech calls as soon as the clocked reached 9am.

average call length was much higher than normal so it was an impossible task to keep up.

we apologise for the long wait and disappointment today and it could be best to try tomorrow as we have all shift members available.
