I don't know about others but I'd recommend a slight upgrade to the case perhaps to the coolermaster 310 as I believe it will be better if you want to upgrade other components and it will keep them cooler. But that's just my probably incorrect thoughts :)

Glad I know some things haha. But I think it's only like £6 more and would be a decent investment I believe if he can buy more components when his work can offer him overtime or he gets more money.

Wasn't sure of how much more it was, but i agree, if he can afford it, go for it :)

I can't afford it to be honest. It's £21 more and I have like 60p left till I get paid (which won't be much).

Also, I won't be adding in any more components, just an extra 4GB RAM at some point if I need to. And that case wouldn't fit in the space in my desk anyway.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Right, I've been thinking and if my PC is still in Pre-Production on Friday when I get paid, I'm going to change the GPU to a HD6670. It's only £18 more and it seems to be able to run games ok. It's a lot better than the GT520 anyway. :D

It is a relief to know I am not the only one updating their original order (10 new invoices since original spec). However when requesting an update on my order (7th day pre-production at the moment) I was told that the excessive changes made could delay my order a couple of days.

Really? I haven't been told that yet.

I was told that when I requested an update on my order
"The estimated delivery time on any order at the moment is 10-12 working days from ordering to dispatch, due to the large maount of amendments you have made to this order please allow an extra couple of working days."
I think that if the order takes a bit longer I may have to live on toast and beans for a while!

They gave you that message after 10 amendments?
Well I'll only be doing my second and I can't see myself doing any more so I should be ok.

Hi wozza ;)

Yeah, the 6670 is a great budget card :) it'll play Bf3 on med, at around 30 fps (doesn't sound much, but it plays very smoothly) :)

Great. It's only £18 more than the GT520 so I may as well go for it.

I changed my order 15 times during pre-production thinking this wouldn't hurt, it messed up the system monitoring parts being available, my build was left in pre-production for 21 days!! Before being built, I thought once my order had been changed the parts would be put aside & saved for my build only, apparently that's not how pre-production works, I only changed & upgraded a number of items because I had the money to, its been a very long time waiting, my build is complete & just being tested, I rang up pcs & they had already prioritized my order once the building system worked out all the changes is made, so hoping to get it Friday or next week

That means I may have to remain longer in pre-production, I was tempted to add some more bits tomorrow when I get paid now after your comment I am apprehensive of doing it. I have made 10 changes so far maybe an odd number will bring me luck.
