Complete Noob! Need help building

Hey, I'm new. Will be moving into my new home soon. Wanted a high end pc for a long time, and I feel it's about time.

I need all the advice I can get here. My pc performance needs to be incredible (for editing purposes mainly).

  • I need to be able to edit 4k in adobe premiere without it struggling too much. I also use design software, so need to cater for this
  • I'm mainly a console gamer but may start pc gaming once I get this. (so pls keep this in mind)
  • Only need about 1tb ssd storage. 2tb if the price is worth it
  • I need the pc to be as silent as can be
  • I want colourful lights. (I like the PC Spectrum RGB Mid Tower case)
  • Ideally I want 16gb RAM
  • I dont know if I should go for intel or amd - need help here pls because i dont know what processor is best)
Budget is about £1300

What monitor do you have, resolution & refresh rate or make and model?
you could probably do with just 512GB on the SSD M.2 side of things for editing with an additional 2TB HDD
AMD all the way
editing I'd say 32GB RAM, that's what i have in my editing pc

I can push my budget accordingly if I underestimated.

Would love a RTX 3070 too ideally.

Beast of a monitor that, but feel like you would need to up your budget. Especially if you have a 3070 in mind (which would be perfect for that monitor)

I'm sure Martin will put together a great build with that monitor/gpu in mind :)

as you can imagine, moving house is the only reason my budget is lower loool. Otherwise I'd just go all out.

But you guys can just put together what you feel I need and then give me a quote, at least I can work towards it. Even if it means getting the pc much later down the line

The case has lighting built in: goodness knows it doesn't need any more! (Though no system needs RGB...)
