Control Center 2 questions

I have Control center 2 v 1.0.76 on my Octane VI and I'd like to know what do the 4 different options do in the basic settings? I thought it was power options but apart from turning off wifi, camera etc, I do not see anything change. It's currently set at entertainment but what's supposed to happens if I set to performance? CPU still hangs around 4.6Ghz no matter if I choose quiet, power saving, entertainment or performance.

Also I want to underclock the i7 9700k CPU as it's running a little hot 95 degrees while gaming. I want to start by giving a -100mV offset but I have no idea if I should do it in the adaptive section of the CPU Voltage or do I select Override and put -100mV offset in there. Do I mess with any of the Power limit settings and CPU Ratio Override?

I've ask PCSpecialist if there is any documentation on CCC 2 but they said there is non so I come here in hope of any info please.

I have an Octane V that came with Control center AP 5.0001.1.76 (I think, based on the driver release date and when I got my laptop from PCS). The GPU overclocking didn't save changes. I followed advice on the forums to uninstall CCC, install XTU and install the latest version available (Control center 2.0 AP Version 1.0.78) from Clevo (here for my model: https://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download/ftpOut.asp?Lmodel=P7xxTM&ltype=9&submit=+GO+) but after that, there is no CCC 2 application, it doesn't seem to run at all. The only trace of it I can find is here:

I uninstalled and reinstalled CCC from my download section in PCS, that also doesn't run at startup and I can't find a CCC application to run. The only version that seems to run, is when I install it from temp_drivers/HKey, but that reverts me to an old version that is only partly functional, unable to underclock or overclock GPU.

When I had Control center 2.0 AP Version 1.0.78 installed (but not working) I followed advice on the forum to go to temp_drivers/HKey run the setup and select repair, but the only option was install, so I did. After that, the GPU overclock function worked, and I was able to underclock my GPU but the Control center shows all 'Null' values and the CPU underclock doesn't work. It may be worth noting, the temp_drivers/HKey Setup application attempts to install Control Center 5.0001.1.62 from 2017, thinking its a newer version than CC 2 v1.0.78 from 2019. When I try to install/update to CCC 2. Install wizard doesn't recognize the version currently installed is Control Center 2, perhaps uninstalling CC from Control Panel isn't fully removing it and when I install CCC 2 it tries to update CCC, breaking it?

Did you manage to find a fix? At this point I simply can't seem to find a fully functioning version of CCC via PCS downloads or the official download center for my Clevo laptop. When I contacted PCS they advised uninstalling CCC and installing MSI afterburner, but that was when my main interest was getting the GPU underclock working, which I did shortly after as detailed above. Should I just give up on CCC and install MSI afterburner? Advice online seems to suggest I should stick to the drivers that are officially for my laptop, ie those available via the clevo.com.tw link above, though I'm inclined to follow PCS advice of-course.

Finding dev error 6068 issues in Warzone, getting to a version of CCC to underclock my GPU worked initially, but stopped working after the latest update and instead caused laptop to shutdown. Would just like to find a working version of CCC or something similar that's compatible then I can go back to trouble shooting until/if IW release a fix, is MSI afterburner a viable replacement?

I had exactly the same problem with CC2.0. There is no difference between the four modes, except for flight mode and camera. Have you found the reason?
