Yeah, you're likely right then, the cooler has failed unfortunately.

This is from the Corsair forums for the Elite Capellix but I think the wiring is the same for your model

"Your only real path here is to check power delivery. The Commander Core supplies power to the pump. The SATA line from the PSU supplies power to the Commander Core. None of the other stuff matters for pump functionality.

With the system powered off, flip the PSU to the off position. Then go to the Com Core and disconnect the wide power cable leading to the pump. Reinsert making sure the white stripe is lined up. Then disconnect the SATA from the Com Core and reconnect. Flip the PSU back on and attempt the start. You don’t need to go to the OS. If you still get the cpu fan error on boot, immediately force the shutdown"

If you find it has indeed failed, then yes, you'd need to create an RMA from your online account, you only need to RMA the cooler itself if you feel comfortable fitting it, then PCS can send you just the cooler next day delivery and you can fit it without affecting warranty.

If you find that a bit daunting, you can still RMA the whole PC and PCS can do the swap.

Yes. none of the above worked for me. I tried connecting the connector to a different SATA cable, reconect wide power cable etc. Will do RMA for cooler.

Yeah, let us know if you need help fitting it.

May be worth taking photos of the relevant connections to help you when installing the new one.

And the coolers come preapplied with high quality paste so no need for separate paste.
