Sorry, ignore that last comment, I totally misread what you'd previously said.

My guess is that this is just a setting in the BIOS that's been set incorrectly regarding the mouse and keyboard.

The fans not turning off on shutdown is possibly a process that's preventing shutdown, but we can't troubleshoot that until you've got mouse and keyboard working.

Headphone issue, probably driver related, possibly just needs windows update applying.
Thanks Mate (I feel like I can call you mate, you've been with me since day 1 of my forum adventure).
Another thing to throw into the mix, I cant get screensaver or power options to work.

The G9 is quite simply the most incredible monitor ever to hit the scenes and given how good it is, I think it's fantastic value.

It does appear to be delayed as they found some bugs in review samples that were sent out, and have currently cancelled sales until they work it out but hopefully it won't be too much of a delay.

I'd say if you can hold out for it, it is simply going to absolutely smash anything else available on the market, for productivity, gaming and HDR media watching. There's just nothing that comes close, not even high refresh 4k.

That's ok, that's because it's a 24 thread processor so it's registering each thread as a separate processor, that's normal.

See mine below is a 4 core 8 thread one:

do you think it would be worth reporting all of the problems to PCS support or wait until I can get into Bios and see whats going on there

I would definitely report them, if nothing else just so they're aware should anything else crop up in the future. They may also know some easy fixes.

I've just been looking over how the RGB works for the fans, but struggling to find too much info on it.

I can't find any information about your LED issue on that case. It seems that case has an RGB fan controller so i wonder if it's a setting on that (though I don't really understand how those controllers works).
Yeah, I really struggled to find any concrete information on it also. From what I can gather there are various methods to route the RGB each having different implications power wise.

If you don't have any luck on the Coolermaster Reddit, also contact PCS, they should be able to give more targetted advice.

Sorry we couldn't get to the bottom of it.

If you do get a solution, would you mind sharing? Would love to know what's going on there!

I found a Reddit asking about fans and LEDs staying on with a Corsair case, albeit not a Coolermaster one, but not sure how much (if any) help it may be given it's just the LEDs not the fans themselves that stay on. The main takeaway from it was that there may be a "Standby Lighting" mode in the BIOS.....directly quoted from there:

"In the BIOS under ADVANCED > APM, there is a ErP/EuP setting. Try enabling it (S5)"

Does that sound right @SpyderTracks ?

I have no idea tbh

If I'm understanding correctly, the fans and LEDs are straying on when Windows is shutdown? In that case it's quite possible that Windows wasn't able to shut the PC down fully. It would be worthwhile doing a command shutdown; open an elevated command prompt or PowerShell session and enter the command shutdown /s /f /t 0 (the /s switch says shutdown, the /f switch says force any running programs to close, and /t 0 says shutdown now). See whether the fans and LEDs go off then?

If I remember correctly (the first half of the discussion has gone missing...maybe the OP has deleted it?) the fans turns off..it's just the fan LEDs that stay on. If it was both staying on then it would likely point to maybe a PSU fault or a controller module error or some other command....the fact that it was just the LEDs is what is making it complicated to work out.
Yeah, that’s how I read it also. The fans turn off, it’s just the LEDs that remain on.
