I ordered my pc on the 8th and it's been in pre-production for the last 18 working days, I asked over email whether or not parts were missing and didn't get my question answered, I like this company a lot but I'm getting anxiety over this long a wait on any updates.

You should be receiving an email once a week with an estimate update? That's in place of the automated system which isn't coping with the changes with Covid.

But basically, estimates are around 24 working days at the moment generally.

I haven't received any updates since the first week unfortunately

They do seem to miss some doing it manually - i didn't get one in the first wave and only got my first update email on Saturday.

I'm on WD19 - build was due this week on 3rd - Friday. Way I'm viewing it - and noting others have heard when their estimated date has moved - that im still on course for the estimated date.

Lots are going into build on the 21-22 WD mark which the 3rd would be for me so i kinda expect they're on schedule - although would love them to get to it this week and out for the weekend.

They promised me there was no issue with parts - if one arose they would contact me to speak about options.

Mine was scheduled for build tomorrow but actually got built yesterday and has been dispatched this afternoon.

So my order was placed on 24th June, went into pre-production on the 26th June and i'm currently on working day 7 of pre production. Estimated build date is the 24th July, which would make it 22 working days before its even started building. So i'm realistically looking at 37 days from start to finish :( Seriously hoping this number comes down significantly haha

I sent a chaser today with read receipt, it was deleted without being read

I sent a further chaser and it was also deleted without being read!!

WHY ARE YOU DELETING MESSAGES WITHOUT EVEN READING THEM !! I have bout 3 high spec PCs and 1 high spec laptop. This is not really acceptable behaviour

What is your issue you need to contact them about?

PCS staff rarely appear here, anything we can help solve/answer?

I believe emails are taking about a week for any response.
I don't think they would be deleting emails on purpose but the only way to find out will be to ring them, I know I can decline to send read receipts, maybe their system does something similar, I don't know.
And as resistance100 says PCS staff rarely make an appearance on these forums.

I would expect PCS to read the posts else why have the forums? It would be sad if they dont read them

These are 100% being deleted before read and that is the outlook confirmation I am getting

Thanks very much for the offer of help. My existing set-up has a 1 TB SSD and 2TB 2nd drive. I'd like to a third drive a 2 TB SSD. Im asking PCS as they built my PC if I have the MOBO connections to add this 3rd drive and if I need to make any changes to an existing empty drivebay to hold it

3 things.

1. This is not PCS's forum it is a forum for PCS enthusiasts which PCS has decided to support.

2. Read receipts are not reliable unless you are sending emails between servers which fall under the same domain and are configured as such. Your mail client does not fall under PCS domain therefore it most likely will not respond. Further to this you don't even know if their servers are configured to allow read receipts.

3. If you want help, start a new thread in the relevant sub forum and you will probably have someone trying to help you within minutes.
