Hi there I have a couple questions and worries about the current CPU cooler I have because I know the temperature i'm getting whilst playing games (It's not all games) is wrong and shouldn't at all be at that high? I'm looking to get an AIO cooler seeming as this cooler isn't really doing the job keeping it below 75 degrees.

I researched and the CPU cooler I have is really good which is suprising when I look at other coolers there isn't really one that beats it (besides the NH-D15)

Vanguard on low settings: 83 degrees
CK3: 80+ degrees
CIV 6: 80+degrees
Forza Horizon 5: 83 degrees

It's probably safe to assume that any game that is newly released my PC is running it 80+ degrees

It's not in overclocked mode atleast to my knowledge either.

I will freely admit that I am somewhat out of the loop when It comes to desktop CPU temps. But those temps look pretty standard.

Agree with @barlew here. Yes, those temps are high given the CPU and cooler pairing, but for load temps they're perfectly acceptable. If you're comfortable doing so, you could always do a re-paste which can often help?

Yes, better coolers than the NH-U14S exist. But the U14S is an awesome cooler and I'd be surprised if a better cooler would offer better performance on the 3600, which is hardly a hot chip.

Well, I looked into it i'm playing games like Vanguard (low settings),Forza Horizon 5 and other games and getting 83 degrees which I was hoping for 75 but it being that hot i'm curious if that's normal apparently it seems normal i've asked in another forum post.

My PC doesn't look the most beautiful right now and the Noctua is the main reason a big fat cooler in the middle no RGB the AIO coolers look much better, I often watch streamers play Warzone 64 degrees whilst getting 120+ FPS whilst i'm doing 120+ FPS and running it on 83 degrees. I obviously want an AIO too that has better performance.

Lower temperatures can mean better performance, but they won't make a difference to you here, because you aren't thermally limited. I'm a little surprised that you're not getting better temps than that with the U14S (which is, as I say, a really good cooler); I wonder if it might need re-pasting at some point.

If you want to go for the AIO for the aesthetics or to get a lower temperature reading, by all means go for it (probably the Corsair Capellix series, and probably the H100i), but it won't give you any extra FPS.

That said, I have a much fatter cooler than you (the D15S) and I love the aesthetics!
