CPU Temperature Issue

I forgot to mention, I don't mind to have a laptop that gets hot, but I looking for the best performance in the long run. You know, we can end up playing games for a long time and under this circumstance eventually I'll break it. From the customer view, I want to use it at the high performance on long runs and to be able to do it without burning myself.

I did a CPU stress test and the maxim was 83, but GPU was not used at all. I believe the GPU is on the left-hand side of the laptop and the temp for CPU go up because of the load of the GPU. Sound strange but, the right-hand side was not hot at all.

Is this forum a way to address directly with PCS?

Though I have another question. As you can see in the screen below, GPU 2 is the Integrated one. I can disable it but when I do this I cannot use my screen resolution at 144Hz. Seems that the display see only the basic driver and I installed the latest one for GPU.

Use Nvidia Control Panel to fix this.
Right click on Desktop n go to Nvidia Control Panel.
There you should be able to fix that.

Hi, I was hoping too, but after I disable it the Nvidia Control Panel is not open at all. I'm afraid the driver not be compatible with the display?

I cannot find a driver for this display. In Computer Management the display is for general one PnP Monitor with a driver from 2006.

Quite a few laptops need the integrated graphics to run as they act as a kind of 'passthrough' for the dedicated graphics.

Not sure why you wanted to disable them, but it's possible it will make the laptop not work properly. It's not like a desktop PC.

You right, I tried to disable it so I won't put any pressure on CPU.

Now, I made more testing and this is the result.

Playing for about 20 minutes This land is my Land on high details without cooler PAD on, just sitting on it.

See picture below, 91C for CPU and load was some time at 100% and GPU was at 71C with some time at 100% load value.

Waited 10 minutes after I started my cooler pad to get the temperature stable.
Attached a picture with cooler pad too, not much different.

The left-hand side of the laptop is really hot!

What are your thought?

The integrated graphics are a different part of the CPU. Disabling them is not the solution to your problem. This is a red herring.
