i can never see that though, you can see a panel in your car, and when i do see the back of the case, it just looks like one of the many cables sticking out the back of my case (HDMI, Ext. HDD, Headset the list goes on) only annoying thing is that the cable is blue and not black

Difference in opinion then m8, we're all different and personally if it was me i'd want to return and get a different case. Fair enough if it doesn't bother you.

Lucky you dont have water cooling I guess. It just looks wrong to me.

yes, i guess it does look wrong if you have your PC facing backwards, i have it on show more than most people will (its sitting on my desk...) but i dont notice it, its just something you forget about, and it wasnt even one of the things that made me reconsider when i read the reviews

Dersta :)

get a better sound card, i explained earlier so i will just quote myself.

if so I'd get a more up to date soundcard. Such as the recon 3d version, the x-fi is ok, but has been discontinued and was designed for vista/xp, also has pretty poor driver support from creative, infact non at all now.

Ok I am ready to order after changing the sound card to the Recon3D one from the X-FI.

But I do not see anywhere to use my discount code of ADW27 to qualify for the £15.00 off?

Has this offer finished now because it is still being advertised?

Cheers!

There are discount codes in PCS adverts in Computeractive and a few other mags, you could have a look for them. Have to use the code when you order.

Youve gone for the overclocked i7-3770k, have you been reading about how hot these have been getting when clocked ?

Hi Mark0,

I am going for a decent cpu cooler and don't think I will ever use the pc to its max anyway, but I figured that if I am paying this much for a pc I may as well have it overclocked to get the best from it.

I hope that answer is the one that makes the most sense and that the cpu wont run at it's max all the time :(

Cheers!

Working Day 12 and feeling lost and forgotten with having no pc to use I called PCS to enquire about the status of my pc build. I have been holding off from calling because I know I can't really do anything but be patient and wait but it's a terrible feeling to go through day after day.

As expected it's the dreaded GTX 680 Graphics Card that is causing the hold up :( so I chose to upgrade to the 4GB version after being advised that it could take 2-3 weeks before the 2GB versions come into stock.

I am going to be running two seperate monitors so the card will take up the slack and run efficiently.

The extra £51.00 seems like a lot at the time but I'm sure that when I have been using the pc for a few weeks and begin to appreciate the extra power the card has it will be nothing to me.

So fingers crossed it should be with me completed next week :)

Just done a little bit of searching to find a review of the 4GB 680 card and found this extensive review by 'The Guru Of 3D', worth a read if you like graphs, facts and figures and youtube demo's.

http://www.guru3d.com/article/palit-geforce-gtx-680-4gb-jetstream-review/1

You can make your own mind up about which card suits you best.

Dersta :)

Thanks for the link, I read it a few days ago. I would be interested to check the difference between the GTX 680 4gb vs gtx 680 2gb in higher resolutions (surround).
