Mainly gaming whilst watching videos potentially maybe streaming in the future
I would lower gpu to the 3900x and non overclocked, there’s just no requirement for the 3950x for your uses.

I’d also lower the motherboard to the strix X570, you won’t be using the overclocking features of the crosshair on Ryzen for gaming as it reduces performance. The Strix is an excellent board.

Up the RAM speed to 3200mhz, doesn’t cost much.

Those are slow 5400rpm HDD’s, are you sure you need so much space? I would suggest the pro drives as they’re 7200rpm drives, or just reduce to 2 x normal 3tb which are also 7200rpm

I would up the M2 to the top tier pcie4 drive, significantly faster and may as well make use of the X570 chipset

Up the PSU to 750w RMX on this calibration build, has you covered for gpu upgrade to any tier.

Refuce the WiFi card to the second option, no benefit to the asus card, just pointlessly expensive

Done can’t not overclock though but all changed up thanks for the advice dude so I don’t get shouldn’t the cpu be the best or what like how does it affect me?

You’ll need to remove the overclock when you get it for optimum performance. It’s very easy to do in the BIOS.

There are loads of different CPU’s and they all fit different use cases. There would be no benefit for your uses to having the 3950x, you would only ever use about half it’s power so it’s a waste of money.

For gaming the 3900x is a waste but will come in handy if you are going to be streaming.

But no, most expensive doesn’t mean better, every component suits the use case.
