Deep Learning and Computer Vision Computer

Hi Everyone,

I am a PhD student and need to do a lot of research with computer vision and deep learning. I was primarily using my 6 years old laptop but it is now time to change it and I have thought about this build but would love some additional recommendation.

USES:

• Primary: Deep Learning analysis of object detection with big image datasets.
• Secondary: Gaming, usually RPG and adventure.

MONITOR:

• Not important in this case

BUDGET:

• £1500 - £2300 (2000 max would be even better)

INFO:

• Going to dual boot with Linux for robotic control.
• Need to use TensorFlow. Must have Geforce.

Not really, I am just customed with Intel but I am open to AMD. I also tried building one with AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core CPU and the price was a little higher than the Intel one (around 50£).
Do you have any suggestions?

Given the current state of Intel, an AMD build will not only be better but offer more upgrade possibilities. Even if a bit more expensive it would be worth it.
