Delivery time & do I have stocked parts?

Hi, new here and was just wondering how long should it take for my PC to arrive if it got processed on the 4th of January? I understand build times can vary but I was just curious as all the parts were in stock according to the configurator but I got a asus 3060ti whereas all the Nvidia ones were out of stock. Don’t want to sound bothersome but just curious to whether the build time will be as normal or take a few more weeks than the standard.

From the configurator it looks like ~10-12 working days is the current average, but as you rightly state, build times vary (we are also just post xmas so there's potentially a backlog to get through from the period where PCS would have been shut).

Once you're through the queue (essentially the pre-production stage) actual 'building' takes <1 day typically with QC/Testing taking <1 day on top of that (sometimes build and QC can be done in <24 hours).

If all components are in stock and available there shouldn't be any additional delays beyond the 'queue'.

Also, just FYI the "asus 3060ti" is a nVidia card, its just made by Asus, the other cards PCS offer are not the nVidia design (aka Founders Edition) they're typically Palit or Zotac.

I've ordered three systems from them the last few months, two of which I'm still waiting for. Whilst we didnt go with the 3060ti, I can tell you from my experience that the wait time is longer than what it tells you. We ordered 2 systems on the 7th December which the site said it would be with us around December 25th to 28th. I'm not expecting them for at least another week yet.

I think you may be getting confused with working days and normal days.

I ordered mine on the 22nd Dec quoting 9 to 12 working days. It has just gone into pre production today. The site says it is on 12 working days now however I work it out as about 9. When I contacted them yesterday they estimated dispatch would be some point the week after next.

22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th

From the date you ordered, it is 12 working days.

That's what I figured and I didn't think the 22nd would count either as that's the day I ordered it on.
Based on that it looks like they are shipping 7-10 days longer than initially indicated which is quite a long way out since it is up to twice the initial date.
However it is not a problem for me (other than I am not good at waiting for new toys) and I would much rather it be a bit late and well built than rushed.
I was told all my parts are in stock so I am guessing mine is in the standard queue.

The queue will be different for everyone. For instance, my order is two identical systems with 3080s, which will likely take longer. But yeah, I think, at least based on what I've seen posted and experience, whatever the site says the delivery date will be, add at least 50% time and you've got a rough idea.

It has been 10 days, excluding bank holidays. If you ordered the 27th, it excludes 27th and counts the dates:

28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, 3rd 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th.

The 28th is the only day that is a bit wobblily. They both listed on their site they were open, and listed on Facebook they are not - but the site counted it as a working day presumably because whoever listed the Christmas opening times listed it as open also.

1st and 3rd are not working days as already stated, 1st was a Saturday (working days are Monday to Friday) and 3rd was a bank holiday.

It goes by they're working hours. They're open 9am - 5pm on Saturdays, says on their website. And the 3rd, they listed on their site as being open. There working days tracker includes Saturdays as they're open, and despite Monday being a bank holiday, their site listed them as being open, so regardless of whether they were or weren't, someone likely made and error.

That's not correct, it goes by working days. That's where you're getting confused. Working days are Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Working days is a general term for all businesses, weather you work on weekends or not, if it states working days, that means Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. It originated with banking many eons ago.

So even in normal times without any bank holidays, you don't count saturdays as a working day.

There are roughly 20 working days to a month.

Are you expecting the customer services rep who answers the phones to build PC's too :ROFLMAO:

Thank you for the quick response! Didn’t know that about asus either! I guess I’ll be waiting a little longer than 10-12 days but I was expecting that anyway since it’s just after Christmas. Is there anyway to check when the pc is past pre-production and into ‘build’ or delivery?

You get emails each time it moves into a new phase, also you can check your account at any time to see where it is in the process
