Almost 1 Year on I just wanted to update regards my U2412m monitor.
After a lot of messing about choosing a monitor and sending faulty ones back, I have to say I'm still pleased I eventually went for the Dell U2412m.
The colour reproduction is beautiful and accurate. I still love it to this day.
Thinking back though, I wonder if we (myself in particular) get a little too tied up in monitor specs....At the end of the day they all do the job and as I learned, more expensive doesn't always mean better. I was also concerned about the 5ms response time and 60hz refresh rate but in reality I had nothing to worry about. I don't play the latest and most demanding games so a pro-gamer may feel differently, but for every day use the Dell is a winner for me and if I needed another moniter I'd buy the same one again.
